This project was a beautiful high-set Queenslander built on a difficult sloping sight designed to take in a natural serene bush back drop. The owners had a very specific vision in mind and wanted to create a home that was as true to an original Queeslander as possible. We included many traditional features including oversized ceilings, dark solid timber flooring, timber wall panelling, expansive hardwood timber decks and timber detailing features throughout. Every detail was meticulously considered down to the colonial plumbing fixtures and fittings as well as the tiling, door handles and even the door stops.
